Every container knows what state it's in.
Work in progress. Visible to the team producing it.
Sent to the review team. Each document awaits its decision: approved or returned.
Approved in review: the stable version the other disciplines work from.
Issued. It's what's used for bidding and construction.
Superseded content, viewable and unaltered.
The sheet is the unit. The verdict, no gray areas.
Every upload is a set. The review decides document by document: approved or returned. Whatever is returned gets corrected and resubmitted, and on close, the approved set is sealed and immutable. Recipients see only what's current.
Nothing enters the project without leaving a trace.
Before modeling, every discipline receives information. DesignBB logs every receipt with its channel, sender, date, and topic, and keeps what arrived separate from what has been admitted: only then does the team use it as reference.
Coordinate before you issue.
Build clash capsules from each discipline's stable versions, in IFC. Clashes come grouped by type and level, and you decide: this is an issue, or it isn't. Several clashes can go into a single issue, with an assignee. Coming soon, the AI assistant will summarize the capsule and propose how to resolve it.
The CDE inside the model.
A side panel in Revit: you'll sign in, send drawings and IFC as a new set, and respond to comments without leaving the model.
Show the model to people without an account.
You'll be able to share a stable version with a view-only link. The project owner will be able to turn off every public link with a single control.
